Telstra-bashing has long been a national pastime. So much so, that it drowns out all the good Telstra does for the country. And there’s a lot. So, we set out to tell the story of what Telstra does and just as importantly, why they do it – Australia is why. The new platform kicked off with film and outdoor, followed by the generous act of turning their 14,000 payphones across the country into freephones, providing a vital lifeline for people living in poverty, living rough, escaping domestic violence, or enduring a natural disaster. All of which had Aussies thinking a little differently about their biggest telco.
